The students at Chatham University, who have been working with us, have created a new set of resource maps for the township showing land use, soil quality, slopes and flooding risk. They are in a Google folder, which you can access via the Read Here link below.

Over 2025 we have been working on the ordinance changes needed to put the Comprehencive Plan into action. We have developed a new vision statement for the township, plus suggestions for our first ever policy statements on houseing, conservation and agriculture. Does housing development help or hinder township finances?
This research from Penn State Extension looks at the effect different forms of land use have on township finances in Pennsylvania. They compare houseing, commercial, industrial and agricultural. It seems that adding housing developments is the most detremental!
